What is MaxDx1?
MaxDx1 is a concentrated fuel enhancer and lubricity product for supported gasoline, diesel, and engine-oil applications. It is marketed by Rough and Ready LLC.
Is MaxDx1 a fuel additive?
MaxDx1 is positioned as a fuel enhancer rather than a generic additive. Its formulation is intended to support fuel performance, lubricity, cleanliness, efficiency, and emissions reduction.
What is the fuel dose?
Use one ounce per five gallons for the first treated tank. After that, use one ounce per ten gallons as the maintenance dose.
Can it be used in engine oil?
Yes. Use one ounce per quart of engine-oil capacity at every oil change.
What applications are supported?
Supported applications include gasoline and diesel vehicles, generators, fleets, heavy equipment, marine, motorcycles, two-stroke engines, stationary engines, and engine oil. Aircraft and aviation fuel are not currently promoted.
What sizes are available?
MaxDx1 is planned in 16-ounce and one-gallon consumer formats. Commercial supply is available in 55-gallon drums.
How does the fuel-savings guarantee work?
The company will pay you back for all purchases of the product if MaxDx1 does not give you a 5% fuel saving in your operation. We believe that this guarantee puts the risk on us for the product performing.
Can I review technical reports?
Yes. The research center organizes approved evidence, and additional technical reports and reference cases are available on request.
Where is MaxDx1 available?
Initial sales and commercial supply are limited to the United States.
